amBX says its amBIENT XC lighting control system can change the way lighting combines with video and sound to create immersive entertainment experiences. The amBIENT XC is a stand-alone DMX 512 hardware controller for RGB LED lighting fixtures, powered by amBX technology. amBIENT XC’s video to light algorithms can automatically generate real time video to light effects, and can be customized to also reflect content, mood, pace and even the actual space in which the effect occurs. A video can directly trigger a series of amBX lighting effects, swirls, ripples, colour bounces and sways together with the content and designed for the space.
Unlike light organs and beat sequencers, amBX sound to light is not just bound to amplitude and beat triggering single light effects. The amBIENT XC can use a combination of audio triggers which are then used to automatically create a combination of amBX lighting effects.
