NEW YORK — LED displays made by Daktronics have proven to be more than a fad at Radio City Music Hall. First installed in 2007, the Daktronics units usually appear as 11-foot-by-16-foot LED screen configurations, but the modular panels change for special performances like the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The screens are used for live and recorded video images, full-color animation and graphics with wide angle visibility.
“No matter where they sit in the theater, they feel up close and personal with the entertainment onstage,” said the venue’s senior vice president and GM, Rich Claffey.
