KORTRIJK, Belgium — Barco announced that Stephan Paridaen, president of the company’s Media & Entertainment Division, is leaving the company, effective Jan. 1, 2009. Barco, which thanked Paridaen for his contribution to the company and wished him future success, said it will be announcing his successor soon. Paridaen joined Barco in 1993 and held several managerial positions in Eastern Europe and Asia. He took up his current position as President of the Media & Entertainment division in 2000 and brought the three activities of his division to leading market positions.
