EILENBURG, Germany — ChainMaster is adding production, presentation and training facilities to its headquarters location. The company expects a 350-square-meter expansion of its production area to be complete by the end of March 2009, and a second phase of construction adding 400 square meters to its production and presentation areas to be completed by next fall. The first phase of construction will create eight new jobs and give the company two new test beds, each with a well measuring 6.5 meters deep. The training facility expansion during the second phase of construction will provide a training area with a height of 10 meters, serving as a realistic environment for participants in training courses.
ChainMaster has been making chain hoists and controllers for theatrical and show stages since 1990, with its products used in the Pentagon Museum, the Kremlin and the international tours of acts like Metallica, Paul McCartney and U2, among others.
