SUNRISE, FL — Chauvet broke ground on its 65,000-square-foot headquarters building, which is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2009. Chauvet Lighting owners Berenice and Albert Chauvet are pictured here, flanking Roger Wishner, deputy mayor of Sunrise, during the ceremony. The facility will house the company’s product development, sourcing, marketing, sales support, service, quality control and shipping operations for its lighting products, which are sold through a global network of dealers and distributors.
Chauvet will echo its emphasis on energy-efficient LED technologies for its lighting products with such “green” design features as a buffer of green space surrounding the building and skylights to reduce the energy required to illuminate the building.
