LONDON — White Light has appointed Martin Palmer as business development manager. A lighting and sound industry veteran, with recent posts at Stagecraft Ltd. as an engineer and sales director, Palmer has designed and worked on over 200 projects involving lighting for performance venues.
These including the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth, U.K., which incorporated color-changing LED fixtures that change the look of the exterior to match shows being performed, and an interactive project for a children’s hospital in Brighton, working with Jason Bruges Studios from London.
“We are delighted to welcome Martin to White Light, his industry knowledge and natural way with customer service fits perfectly with those of White Light,” said Peter Threadgold, White Light’s sales director. “Having known Martin for a number of years I am looking forward to working together and continuing the growth in our business.”
White Light has also recently appointed new sales coordinators Amanda Humphreys and Rachael Bates and Sabina Lockwood as sales office administrator. These appointments followed the recent promotion of Caroline Ferris to sales office supervisor.
