MAINZ, Germany — Robe’s international road show, titled “The Future is Digital,” had a two-day stop recently at SKY Europe's Mainz-based TV Studio, in the same neighborhood as ZDF Television’s headquarters complex. The two-day event included hands-on product demos, and was attended by visual designers, operators, programmers, technicians and other industry professionals from across Germany and Austria. The digital moving lights on display included the Robe DigitalSpot 3000 DT and the DigitalSpot 7000 DT moving light projectors positioned around the studio’s curved cyclorama, shooting visuals onto the screen and around the room.
Robe’s StageQube 324 medium resolution video wall panels were arranged as set pieces, illustrating various configurations that could be used for TV applications. Four hands-on demo areas gave attendees the chance to become more familiar with Robe’s 700 Series of moving lights and new RED Series of LED-based fixtures.
The company said a series of similar smaller-scale events is planned for other cities.
