Things do go wrong from time to time, so it is always important to back up your show file often. I know that most modern consoles use internal hard drives and are continually saving your show file, but that is no guaranty that it will be there when you need it. It is still imperative that you make regular backups to external media. Every 30 minutes or so, you should make a backup.
