One thing to consider when programming for a permanent installation is the perspective of the audience. First, there are the multiple viewing angles. Rarely does an installation have one primary audience location. As you program, and once the installation is completed, you should try to view the results from as many different locations as possible. Ony then can you assure that everyone viewing your work sees what you intended.
